Maverick Baseball led by Justin Machado and his coaching staff began in 1996. The Mavericks have never had a losing season. They have competed in the CIF playoffs every year and are continually one of the top programs in the county. The Mavericks have advanced to the CIF finals seven times and have won four CIF Championships (2002, 2003, 2012 & 2022) and the Southern Regional State Championship in 2021. On March 8, 2019, Coach Machado had his 500th career win at the helm of Maverick Baseball.
